Blue Santa 2007

The Dickinson Police Department Blue Santa program assures that the children of needy families receive educational and entertaining toys and clothing for the Holidays. Our families come to us from all walks of life. The Dickinson Police Officers compassionately and confidentially find families in need and with their help Blue Santa provides Holiday cheer.  We work in conjunction with Empty Stocking each year to assure we do not duplicate recipients.

Blue Santa volunteers consist of members of the City of Dickinson , Dickinson Police Department, Dickinson Citizens Police Department Academy Alumni Association, the COPS program, Galveston County Extension Office, Festival of Lights, and other civic organizations and churches.

Volunteers are welcome to help with wrapping, shopping, delivery of gifts and good cheer. Families and organizations wishing to “adopt” a family are welcome to call Tony Valdez or Nelda Harles .

Our goal is to serve the children of Dickinson !

Come join us on December 22, 2007 at the Dickinson Police Department and MEET Blue Santa and his helpers.
