COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The Community Development Department is accountable for protecting the health, safety, and general welfare of the residents, citizens, and inhabitants of the City of Dickinson through city ordinances, building codes, and land use regulations.

The Community Development Department is organized into three divisions:

• Planning & Zoning

• Building Inspections & Permits

• Code Enforcement

Department personnel are responsible for:

• Review and approval, and inspection of development projects, construction projects, and related activities

• Enforcement of health and maintenance codes

Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 5:30pm

Friday 7:30 am – 12:00 pm
