Responsibilities

• Receive and process all building related permits

• Perform building code compliance inspections for construction activities on private property 

PERMITS

Types of permits issued include residential construction, commercial construction, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical. Also permits are required for pools, change of occupancy, and signs.

INSPECTIONS

A building inspection is required for all new construction, and remodels.

Inspections are usually done Monday - Thursday

between 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, except for Fridays which is

between 7:30 am – 12:00 pm.

It is the responsibility of the contractor to schedule an inspection.
