Dickinson's New Fire Station
Dickinson's new Fire Station # 1 is being built on the corner of FM 517 E. and Texas Avenue. It will replace the 46 year old Fire Station #1 located on FM516 E and Dockrell. The new $2.14 million station will be 13,000 square feet. The architect is Joe Hoover and the construction manager at-risk is J. W. Kelso Company. Actual construction began in December of 2006.
