New City Hall and Library

UPDATE ON CITY HALL PROJECT

December 9, 2008

• The project is on schedule for substantial completion in April 2009.

• The steel erector is completing the welding of the roof decking for both City Hall and Library.

• The exterior wall studs are being installed on both City Hall and Library.

• The HVAC duct work and the electrical conduits are being installed on both the City Hall and Library.

• Staff still in discussions with the architect and electrical engineer regarding the installation of a transfer switch for an emergency generator.

• West side parking and driveways have been poured.

• Brick scheduled to begin this week.

• Roof panels scheduled to begin this week.

• City staff is meeting with different vendors for telephone systems.

• City Administrator working on quotes for signage.
