Sergeant Michael J. Anzualda
Sergeant
Michael J. Anzualda is a twenty one-year veteran in Law Enforcement. He
graduated the Del Mar Police Academy in Corpus Christi in 1986. He started
his Law Enforcement Career in Falfurrias Texas, a small town thirty-five
miles south of Kingsville Texas. He is a graduate of Falfurrias High
School and attended College at what is now know as Texas A&M in
Kingsville. While with the Falfurrias Police Department, he became a
certified Alcohol Immobilizer Operator and became a certified jailer. He
served the City of Falfurrias for eleven years and became a Sergeant in
1995.
In March of 1997, he became a
policeman with the City of Dickinson. He is currently assigned to the
Patrol Division and his duties include: Field Training, New Officer
Evaluations and Daily Operations for “A” shift. In 1999 he became one
of the departments K-9 handlers and then shortly afterwards became a
Sergeant for this department. Sergeant Anzualda has had three police
service K-9’s, Danielle, Aussie and his most recent partner Asko. The
United States Police Canine Association, in both Narcotic Detection and
Tactical Patrol Dog Deployments, has certified him and his partners.
During his time with the Dickinson Police Department he has been awarded
the 50’s Club, Officer of the Year and this departments Supervisor of
the year. He currently holds an Advanced Texas Peace Officers License and
is working to achieve his Masters license. He is also currently attending
the Bill Blackwood, Leadership Command College Program.
Sergeant Anzualda is happily
married to his wife Michele, and has four sons.
