Sergeant Tracy Keele

Sgt Tracy Keele has been a Police Officer since November 1988. He trained at the Montgomery County Sheriffs Academy in Conroe, and was first commissioned by the Kerens Police Department in Navarro County. He worked briefly in the city of Rice, Navarro County, and became a Dickinson Police Officer on October 31, 1991. 

He served in the Patrol Division, and was one of two motorcycle officers in the city’s first ever, Motor Division. He remained there until promoting to the rank of Sergeant in May of 1997. During that time, he became certified as a SWAT Member, and served in various capacities with Friendswood SWAT and CART. He is currently the Senior Patrol Sergeant, and Firearms Instructor for the department. Keele teaches various subjects at the Citizens Police Academy, and serves as a certified Police Instructor for In-Service Schools. He teaches firearms to both police officers and civilians, and is listed as a State Certified Concealed Handgun License Instructor. He holds a certificate as a “Taser Instructor”, and a “Pepperball Instructor”. Keele enjoys Martial Arts and Weightlifting in his spare time.
