Aggravated Robbery

On July 24, 2006 after 2pm, the Days Inn Motel in Dickinson was robbed at gunpoint. A review of the video shows a bright red SUV, 2000 to 2001 year make, possibly a Chevy Blazer, stock wheels, luggage rack, pull through the lot.  It circles and exits, but stops briefly in front of the office. Very shortly after a male black comes up on foot.  He enters the office and asks for directions to LaMarque.  As the clerk is giving directions, the male black pulls a silver revolver from his waist.  The clerk gives him the money from the cash drawer and the male black flees on foot. The clerk followed him to the McDonalds right across from the Motel.  He sees him get into the red SUV that drove through the lot.  The driver of the SUV was a male white.  They took off across the McDonalds parking lot and possibly south on IH45. The male black is described as 6' to 6'2", 200 to 230 pounds, goatee.  He was wearing a black ball cap, black t shirt, and jeans.  He looks to be mid to late 20's.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective John Lopez at 281-337-6335 or Bay Area Crime Stoppers at 281-480-TIPS
