Comprehensive Drainage Study
The City has contracted with HDR Claunch & Miller to develop a Comprehensive Drainage Study that will identify flooding hot spots in the City. The study will provide different alternatives for solving the issues and prioritize the projects. Funding will be set apart each year to complete the projects recommended by the study.
City of Dickinson 2010 Comprehensive Drainage Study
West Gum Bayou
A contractor for the City of Dickinson has completed clearing the City’s section of West Gum Bayou, between Owens Drive and Texas Avenue.
Before
Hurricane Season
The Public Works Department has been proactive in preparing for Hurricane Season by completing several minor drainage improvements around town, not to interfere with our Comprehensive Drainage Study. Citizens can also place requests to have their roadside ditches cleaned by phone or online.
