Rumor Control

The City of Dickinson strives to keep the citizens aware of the activities of the city.  We wish to encourage active communication between citizens, elected officials, and city staff. Unfortunately, misunderstandings and rumors can easily happen, causing damage to the community and its residents.  The purpose of this section of the City WEB page is to allow citizens to come to the City for the real facts.  The City of Dickinson will use its best efforts to fully address all matters of inquiry submitted to it on the Rumor Control page. From time to time, the City may be unable to respond to an issue raised due to ongoing processes for which related information must remain confidential. The Rumor Control page is a tool that the City uses to provide information to its citizens. The City will not respond to submissions which are strictly personal or pointed on a particular pending issue. Thank you for your understanding in this regard.

If you have heard a rumor about something happening within our city e-mail us and we will make every effort to determine if it is fact or fiction.  Send your email to rumors@ci.dickinson.tx.us and let us know what you have heard. We will post a response on this page so that all Dickinson citizens can have access to the most accurate information available about City services and activities.
