  1. Will I still get emergency notifications if I don't sign up?

    • If citizens don’t create a profile with a username and password, you will not receive individualized notifications. We encourage residents and businesses within the City of Dickinson to elect to receive text messages to a cellphone and email to ensure you can be informed on the go.
  2. What if my phone number or email address changes?

    • DickinsonALERT is only as good as the information you provide. If your contact information changes, you should update your profile to manage any changes so you will continue to get specific information based on your profile and preferences. We encourage everyone to login at least once a year to review and update all of your information.
  3. Will my contact information be shared with others?

    • No. The information provided will be used only for official notification purposes.
